Each academic year The LANGUAGE CENTER/ Facultad de Artes y Comunicación chooses an NGO for our Social Responsibility activities. This time we've decided to support AMIGOS DE SIERRA LEONA. They'll buy food and medical supplies for the people who are in quarantine due to the Ébola epidemic.
What can you do to help?
You can VOLUNTEER to sell books. An hour or 2 or 3! Take a VOLUNTEER sticker and sign the VOLUNTEER list. And put VOLUNTEERING on your C.V.
You can CONTRIBUTE books, of course!
You can BUY books for 1 euro. Yes, only 1 EURO. Give them to your friends and family, neighbors and co-workers. Some are like new and would make great birthday presents or Cristmas presents or Reyes presents. And you'll be helping the cause.
You can PRACTICE your 2nd, 3rd, 4th language with all those you come to the BOOK EXCHANGE & SALE.
